One of the biggest advantages of making your opponent hit on the run is that you won't allow her to coil up in preparation for her swing. Here, Ana is forced to hit the ball with her feet in an overclosed position, with her hips actually pointing somewhat toward the back wall. This is exactly the opposite of the semi-open stance she prefers. She won't have any significant rotational energy on this swing, nor will she be able to generate much forward, linear push from her legs. She'll probably be happy just to get this defensive shot back into play well enough to keep her opponent from responding with an even tougher shot.
