Correct and congratulations! You have officially positioned yourself to be a tennis millionaire.

At the net, you want to shift toward the side from which your opponent will hit. This may seem at first to leave too much room for the cross-court pass, but by stepping forward, you can cut off the cross-court angle. A down-the-line pass has no angle to cut off, so you need to be closer to that side to reach the passing shot.
