From the ready position in the previous frame, you will split-step as the opponent swings at the ball, and if your split-step is well-timed, you will begin to turn toward the appropriate side in mid-air, as you see the ball heading in that direction. As you bring the racquet back with the fingers of your left hand on the racquet throat, your weight should be on your back foot.
