Beginning of Forward Swing

Here, Gasquet's left hand has released the racquet, beginning his forward swing. His forward lean will contribute to his power and take some strain off his arm, which will have enough to handle, given the height at which he's about to meet this ball. If the ball were lower, his front knee would be more bent, and most of the upward push of his legs would still be yet to come. With the high point of contact he's about to execute, Gasquet has already pushed upward quite a bit just to start his racquet on its climb to the ball.
