No backhand game is complete without a good slice. Here, Gasquet prepares his slice with a distinctly different backswing and grip than he uses for the topspin. As noted earlier, his backswing is actually lower for his slice than for many of his topspins. The grip he's using here is between Continental and Eastern forehand, indicating that he'll probably hit quite a heavy backspin and/or sidespin.
