Justine Henin uses a Western backhand grip to hit one of the most powerful one-handed topspin backhands of any female player ever. Use of the Western backhand grip is extremely rare, as it requires meeting the ball farther in front than any other groundstroke and it's poorly suited for hitting anything but topspin. It does make hitting topspin on high balls somewhat easier though, and Justine gets a lot of high balls, as she's only 5'5".
