When one of her opponents has the misfortune to have given Ana a slightly shorter ball on the forehand side, Ana gets a chance to unleash her most agressive shot, a forehand where most of her energy drives the ball forward with immense pace and just a modest amount of topspin to keep the ball from flying long. The forwardness of this swing is quite evident in the direction Ana's whole body is moving. In contrast to the previous photo, where Ana had swung upward more sharply, here her racquet is rising gradually and will finish pointing upward, above her shoulder.
