One of the few advanced rollers racquets.
Most racquets for advanced players are heavy and head-light. The Hyper Hammer 6.6 weighs only 10.7 ounces (strung), nearing the lower limit of sensible weights. Its official balance is listed as 3/8" head-heavy on a 27.25" frame, but Tennis Warehouse's testing found it only 1/8" head-heavy, and the reviewers there thought it played head-light, too, with high maneuverability. The head-heavy balance did show up in good ratings for stability. Strung with 16 mains and 20 crosses on 98 square inches, it delivers strong spin potential. Despite a relatively stiff rating for a 22-mm straight beam, reviewers found control clearly taking precedence over power.
