| Guide Review |

A sweet feeling that lasts.
The Dunlop Grand Prix Har Tru balls have just the right firmness to make them exceptionally pleasant to hit. As a teaching pro, I keep a large collection of balls. The bounce of the Grand Prix balls consistently outlasts all of the other types of balls in the cart except the Wilson Double Core and possibly the Gamma Championship. The felt seems clearly more durable than that of the Gamma and probably more durable than that of the Wilson. The Grand Prix are generally priced about halfway between a standard pressurized ball and the Double Core, giving them, in my estimation, the best performance per dollar. The Har Tru felt holds up surprisingly well on hard courts, and the Hard Surface version of the same ball should hold up even better. |
