Excellent insight into the emotional make-up and shot selection in one of the later paragraphs. The mental-emotional aspect of the game is huge since maybe 40% of the pro matches, and 60-70% of club players matches is made up of the time between points when you have a lot of time to think about what just happenned. Try and do that with unemotional attachment. Anyhow, I am new to this blog but you have excellent insights.
